This was a case study of Luis Barragan’s private home in Mexico City. Struck by his use of color, planar quality and the complexity of the house, a classmate and I used the bright colors as an orienting technique in the plans and sections. For the presentation, we covered two large format printouts with brown paper and slowly unfolded each section in order to represent the complex way that one would pass through the house.
